West-Mark Wins US Army Contract

Under the contract, West-Mark, a manufacturer of tank transportation equipment and fire apparatus, will produce water and fuel tanker trucks to serve security forces of Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries during their continued rebuilding and infrastructure efforts. Mack Defense, a division of Mack Trucks Inc., will supply West-Mark with its Mack Granite model truck for the award of contract from the US Army Contracting Command, based in Warren MI. Deliveries will start in early 2012 and continue through the contracting period of three years, with a two year option. Total value of this contract is approximately $37.8 million and includes spare parts and in-country service points.

West-Mark Service Center Expands

West-Mark announces the expansion of the West-Mark Service Center in Ceres, California. With a remodeled and fully stocked parts department West-Mark offers a full range of truck tank, fire apparatus, and trailer parts are available for your immediate needs. The 22-bay full service facility provides tank trailer repair and testing for customers throughout the Central Valley, Northern California, and Nevada. All mechanics are ASME certified and experienced stainless steel and aluminum welders. Services include National Board R-Stamp, 3A Sanitary, DOT, MC-331, NFPA, and HM-183 testing.
